There were 80 industry partners at this event, representing prominent employers such as Amazon, Tesla, and Kaiser Permanente. Prior to the event, students prepared their resumes and had them ready to present to the employers. At the event, students conducted interviews with prospective employers, thereby applying and sharpening their interview skills. 11 of the employers at the event were on-site and willing to hire students ages 16 and up, mostly in the hospitality and restaurant industry. Other notable employers from other industries also hired students at the event, such as Goodwill of Silicon Valley and the San Jose Sharks. Students also exchanged contact information with hiring managers, gained details about summer internships, and received career advice from employers.
